Freedom of the Seas

The world's largest cruise ship will be inaugurated next week. Here is a sneak peek:

It boasts the world's first on-board surfing pool, called "Flow Rider", a skating rink and a rock-climbing wall. Its features also include a water park with colourful sculptures and numerous restaurants, bars and salons.

It will take up to 4,375 passengers at a time on Caribbean cruises.

The 160,000-ton ship is 339 metres (1,112 ft) long, 56m (184 ft) wide and has a cruising speed of 21.6 knots.

what a weird post.

I've never been on a cruise ship. I never had the desire to spend my vacation on one. I prefer land.

the last survivor of The Titanic just died, btw.

(O___O) I also read somewhere that this ship's got a lower platform that extends only a few feet above seawater. Sorta like some pedestal that holds a encased squash/tennis courtyard... like that hyperbole heli-pad where Agassi played some tennis on the Burj Al-Arab in Dubai. This be some luxury stuff... hope it don't turn out like that movie Poseiden on its maiden voyage... Interesting stuff sis!
